Royal Caribbean doesn't travel to the Mexican Riveria anymore. One of the 2 cruises ships that serviced the Mexican Riveria, the Vision of the Seas, now runs in the Western Caribbean .
My first cruise was to the Mexican Riveria was back in 2002 aboard the Vision of the Seas. The ship from top to bottom was emaculate with very pleasant hosts and servers. The ship sailed out of San Diego, and unlike most other Mexican cruise ships, they go to Cabo San Lucas and work there way south. Princess and Carnival ships head all the way south to Purto Vallarta and work there way back north.
