El Arco / Lover's Beach

El Arco Cabo San Lucas is located at the tip of the Baja Peninsula. Also known as Land's End, This distinctive landmark El Arco (the Arch) is a rugged rock formation rising steep out of the ocean.
This
is a popular tourist attraction and the most photographed landmark in Cabo San Lucas ( maybe all of Mexico).
Just to the right of El Arco is a small beach known as "Lover's Beach". This a great place to relax in the sun and explore the rugged cliffs and pounding surf on the Pacific side known as Divorce Beach.
Getting to the arches is easy as there are many water taxis and glass bottom boats to take you. All water tours from the ship (snorkel, whale, fishing, etc.) will take you by Lands End and the coast for pictures and viewing . if you want to stay the day at lover's Beach the water taxis will drop you off, and pick you up at a designated time. from here you lay out, swim or hike the surrounding area. When exploring the small caves be aware that many tourist use them as a urinal since there are no bathrooms in the area. If you venture further to the back side be careful as the surf is usually much stronger here.
